Our Celebrations

In 2009 Country Road Greenhouses held the first outdoor food event in Strathcona County.

Tomato Fare with tomato tasting, food vendors and artisans. The successful Tomato Fare out grew our facility.

Carol rebranded the event to Savour Strathcona County. Savour the food, Savour the arts, Savour our lifestyle, Savour Strathcona County.

To celebrate Carol's 50th Birthday, Carol held a Calibrachoa Plant Trial. Trialing over 80 varieties of calibrachoa from all over the world. Proceeds from the silent auction for the Calibrachoa planters was donated  the Alberta Cancer Foundation.

Carol initiated Blossoms for the Cure raising money for the Alberta Cancer Foundation. Blossoms for the Cure, now known as Growing for the Cure is available to all greenhouses across the province.

Growing for the Cure- One dollar from each purchase will be donated to the Alberta Cancer Foundation where 100% of the funds will be directed towards cancer prevention, research and treatment throughout our province.
